Strategic preparations to give a new direction to the future of India's stone industry gained momentum with the first Steering Committee meetings for India Stonemart 2028 and the 11th Global Stone Technology Forum (GSTF) 2026, held on August 17, 2026, at RIICO, Udyog Bhawan, Jaipur.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Suresh Kumar Ola, IAS, Managing Director, RIICO, and Chairman, Executive Committee, CDOS.
The meeting focused extensively on the preparations, progress and upcoming action plans for both major international events. Various key aspects, including the exhibition layout, brochure, space rental, sponsorship, website development, and national and international promotional campaigns, were reviewed in detail.
The participants also held constructive discussions on making India Stonemart 2028 and GSTF 2026 more grand, impactful and internationally significant platforms for the global stone industry.
Shri Suresh Kumar Ola provided valuable suggestions and strategic guidance for making both events more successful and impactful.
