Arch. Uttam Chand Jain through his presentation displayed the use of stones in past, present and possibilities in future. As they say, Stones have no limitation right from lighting of the fire to all the uses this date they play fabulous role.
Architect Christopher Benninger detailed how different coloured stones were used in Bhutan to mean different meanings and how they have kept their tradition alive.
Dr. Marone touched upon many aspects of mine planning, recycling of waste, use of stone in various cladding applications, standards for cladding and code of installation of stones in Italy.
Architect Kulbhushan Jain presented on restoration of Mahrangarh Fort of Jodhpur and shared his experiences and challenges faced while undertaking the restoration of the fort. |
